What's the job?

As a Digital Marketing SEO Account Manager you’ll be required to have a wide range of experience in search engine optimisation and digital marketing. You’ll also have experience in an agency environment, working closely with clients to understand their needs and plan and manage the delivery of their Marketing activity to fit in with these.

You’ll have a passion for strong digital marketing campaigns and an understanding of what a strong website landing page looks like. We expect you to have experience and be skilled in many of the following elements of digital marketing:

• keyword research • optimising websites • technical SEO • algorithm updates • content marketing • local SEO • Google My Business • user experience • and many of the key tools

For clarity, only candidates with extensive knowledge of these SEO skills will be considered.

We use in SEO: Google Analytics, SEMRush, Screaming Frog amongst other software platforms and familiarity with these will be an advantage …

In addition to your technical skills, a fundamental aspect of this role is to manage and build relationships with your own clients in the capacity as an account manager. You will work with our clients to optimise their websites to gain the best results by way of:

• clear and regular client communication; in person, by telephone and by email • creating monthly strategies plans • reporting on activity • managing small teams working on other aspects of the client brief (from social to PR and paid ads) • updating and reporting back to your line manager with status update and meeting KPIs • ensuring we bring each project in on time and on budget and to the highest standards.

Do you fit the bill?

We’re not your average marketing agency, so this isn’t your average marketing position.

You’ll have at least 2 to 5 years’ experience in an SEO position and be looking to develop further. You’ll therefore need to have a passion for all things digital and be keen to expand your knowledge and skills.

We’re an extremely busy agency, so you’ll be ready to muck-in with the rest of the team to get things done, but also be willing to down-tools from time to time to join us for a Bake-off, game of darts or a ping-pong competition too!

Location
Wagada are based in New Barnes Mill, adjacent to Sopwell House, Cottonmill Lane. We are not close to any public transport so it would be a requirement to drive or be able to ride to work. Only applications by candidates within a 20 minutes commute of our office will be considered.

The Nitty-Gritty

Pay: Varied. Dependent on experience.
Hours: Full-time, 9.00am-5.30pm (37.5 per week), Monday-Friday.
Holiday: 23 days per year, including Christmas period closed & public holidays
